Spring/Summer
The Northern Wings is spring and summer AAA hockey program offering players from Northern MN, Northern WI, North Dakota, and Western Ontario the opportunity to play hockey against like abilities at the highest level.
Ages
Northern Wings teams ages range from ages 8 to 13.
Tryouts
Tryouts are typically held in September or October of the prior year. Varies by playing level.
Season
Each team will typically participate in 3-6 tournaments. Normally in April, May, and August.
Practices
Teams may practice prior to a tournament or offer a pre-season campe, but the Wings are a "non-development" model. This means that that there are not regular practices. This allows the Wings to find the best players from a wide geographical area.
